The solution is for the online brokers to develop "third party" relationships with training firms. The online broker will allow a few training firms to access its customer database for the purpose of promoting training programs. The online broker will not recommend one training company, it will not own one share of a training company, and it will remain completely separated from all training activity. |

Online brokers who own, or otherwise have an interest in, firms that train their customers, are prime targets for regulatory sanctions. They will be required to divest themselves of the training company or the brokerage company. They will not be allowed to continue both functions. |
